[Nov. 13th, 2009|03:33 pm] |
So, I'm visiting my father in South Carolina. Things will be a bit sporadic for me until I return to Detroit on the 18th.
I'll do my best to keep up, but don't expect too much. |

So, I'm heading out to Seattle tomorrow. I will do my best, in the meantime, to keep up with what I need to keep up with, but no promises. I may or may not, have reliable access to the internets. So, I'll see you all again in a week, at the latest. |

In the name of all that is good and holy, what am I doing awake?
...how do you people do this EVERY DAY?
And, oh yeah, replies will hopefully come later this evening. |

So, umm...I've not been around to post this weekend.
One reason was because my internet connection was down. All weekend. There's also another reason, but I'm not really ready to share that one yet. Rest assured, it's the best, and worst, reason, for anything.
It's like a cheesy get-out-of-jail free card. |

Okay, so I'm not saying this to garner any sympathy, but I've been slack enough that I feel I owe an explanation, for my general absence from the game for the next 24 hours or so.
I'm single again, so I'll need the day to decompress. Sorry again. |

Dawn, I dunno if you'll be around, but I thought I'd let you know that I'm going to be in Green Bay over Memorial weekend. |

I've been horribly slack this week on my replies. The lack of motivation fell on me like an anvil.
So, I'm sorry, and I will try to rectify that, today (or tomorrow). |

I'm sorry I haven't done anything in the way of replies this week. You see, allergies declared war on my FACE, on Monday evening, and my face lost the ensuing battle. It is now occupied territory. Bryce, I promise that somehow, some way, I will crank out a Thanatos reply for you tonight; I'm sorry to have kept you waiting.
And, because everyone else is doing it:
When we role play, we tend to pick up a variety of characters. They could be ones that we like, ones that we want to experiment with, or ones that we just end up making from scratch. Eventually, we come to associate with (some of) them in one way or another. Out of all the characters (past or present) I role play, pick out the one I am most like and tell me why you think so.
Feel free to ask my characters questions too~ They'll answer appropriately! |

Oh, the geekery.
"Wait, you're buying techno on iTunes?" "Yeah. So?" "Couldn't you just loop the 15-second free sample 20 times and get basically the same thing?"
Consider me dead. |

| Finally |
[Mar. 31st, 2008|03:36 pm] |
Well, my rig at home finally seems to be back in tip-top shape, after replacing the power supply and troubleshooting the bloody thing for nigh a week to figure out where the other funny noise was coming from (my northbridge fan was seizing up).
So that means that I'll no longer be relying on my horrifyingly locked-down testbed server to do any surfing replying at home. And, in the next few months, I'll be looking to make my problems worse with a motherboard and CPU upgrade. |

| Seemed Like the Thing to Do.... |
[Mar. 19th, 2008|06:51 pm] |
Since Steve went and acted all cool by having computer problems, I figured that I just had to follow in his footsteps and have some computer troubles of my own.
I.e., my power supply is on the verge of collapse. I have ordered a new one, but it will take a day or two for Newegg to deliver it, so I will be confined to doing replies, receiving communication, etc. at work, for the most part, for the rest of the week.
This shouldn't affect things much, since work is where I usually post my replies. |

| Why, Damnit? |
[Mar. 18th, 2008|06:18 pm] |
Okay, my coworker needs to die. He's sitting next to me and he just. Won't. Shut. UP. Even while I'm typing. I really don't want to go to prison--I just know there'd be a reenactment of Deliverance waiting for me, with me as the star--but days like to day, he makes it very difficult to remain sane, calm, and rational.
Plus, he completely ruined my vibe for the Apollo reply I was working on. euioaghgapoplexy
Also, Susa-no-O needs something to do. Any takers? |

| Beware |
[Mar. 15th, 2008|03:43 pm] |
I've an idea.
We should turn the Ides of March into a holiday, celebrating specifically the overthrow of all those who would be tyrants, or don't bother ever listening to their constituents. We can all gather in groups of maybe 20 or so, and give each other knives as gifts to celebrate the occasion.
What do you think? |

You know, I think you all may not ever see me again.
I had cause to buy a new television this weekend, and it is niiiiiice.
Just for Jan: Dante may be a wanker, but he cuts a very dashing wanker-figure on a 42-inch digital screen. I suppose I'll need to eventually get a PS3 and acquire DMC 4. |

[Feb. 2nd, 2008|05:20 pm] |
Hey, do any of you folks remember the Geico caveman commercial where the Neanderthal is riding a moving sidewalk through an airport and is listening to the Muzak?
That Muzak just popped up on my Pandora station. For the second time. In case you wondered, the song is 'Remind Me' by Royksopp, so you know to run from it like the plague. Dear god, I knew my musical tastes were bad, but this?! This might just necessitate seppuku. o.O |

I am afraid that I have the plague. Not that that will make me any slower with my replies (egads, is that even possible?), but I just wanted to enlighten all of you. |
